Here are some tips to try first:
Cut Off Dates to Keep in Mind:
If any of these dates fall on a weekend or holiday, we disconnect the following business day.
Screven: 1st of the month
Effingham: 15th of the month
Planters Communications: 20th of the month
Phone Troubleshooting
- Make sure all other phones are on the hook/receiver.
- If you are using a cordless phone, make sure it is fully charged.
- Make sure the breaker has not tripped. Sometimes, it can look like the breaker switch is on, and still be tripped.
- Make sure the cord to your phone has not come unplugged.
- Try plugging up a different phone to your jack. If the other phone works, you have a bad phone. If the other phone does not, call our office for further assistance.
- Have you paid your bill? Pay Now.
Internet Troubleshooting
- Perform a Speed Test.
- Make sure the wireless setting is turned on, on your device. (If it is turned on, you should see the wireless icon on your phone/computer)
- Reboot your router or unplug the router and let it sit for at least 10 seconds. DO NOT click the reset button on your router. This defaults your router to factory settings and it will need reprogramming.
- Make sure the router has not come unplugged.
- Make sure the breaker has not tripped. Sometimes, it can look like the breaker switch is on, and still be tripped.
